We read with interest the report by Frost and colleagues evaluating a PET/CT-guided management strategy after at least 2 years of disease control on first-line immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) [1]. While addressing the critical need for de-escalation strategies, several methodological aspects warrant clarification.
